Bio:
Joe Jarret is the Knox County Law Director. He has been practicing local government law for over 21 years and teaches local government law on behalf of UT. He is a Federal & Tennessee Mediator, a former active duty United States Army Officer with service overseas, and an award winning writer who holds the Bachelor of Science degree, the masters in public administration degree, and the juris doctor degree. He is the 2009 recipient of Gordon Johnston Award for the Ethical and Professional Practice of Local Government Law.
