JINGLE BELL JOG 5K RUN

The Jingle Bell jog
is an important fund raiser for the Teen Driver awareness program.
All of the proceeds generated from this run will be used to help reduce
teen deaths in the Powell Area. Please check back to find out more
information about the 2007 4th annual Jingle Bell Jog. Our 2006
jog had a record number 286 runners. Despite the fact that the SEC East
Championship game was going on during the jog, we still managed to
attract more runner then last year. This Year we had over 315
runners and I believe all enjoyed the perfect weather. Thanks to
everyone who took part in this 5K race. Please see the
Teen Driver Awareness
page to see our sponsors, without their help we could not have provided
this program.
I also want to thank all of
my volunteers this year, without your help this race would have
been difficult to manage. All of the tellers at First Tennessee
Bank, The Knox North Lions Club, The Powell High Rugby Team, All of the
folks at Edward Jones, and over two dozen volunteers from the Knox
County Sheriffs department. I'm sure I've missed others as well.
Please know that every volunteer did a fabulous job and I thank each and
every one of you.
